About US

Oceanside Writing was founded by David Ferris, a 15-year veteran of the publishing and ghostwriting industry. He cut his editorial chops with an academic press and later one of the Big Four publishing companies before working as a ghostwriter for entrepreneurs, physicians, spiritual gurus, financial advisors, and the CEO of a billion-dollar company.

During his career as ghostwriter and editor, David has helped hundreds of  authors realize their vision, ghostwrote several Amazon bestsellers, and edited dozens of books published by a major publishing company (along with innumerable self-published titles). David holds a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University, a Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University, and a Master’s in Documentary Filmmaking from a prestigious European arts academy.
